Maria Imbarlina has spent over two decades doing the kind of family law work that requires equal parts, legal precision and human understanding. Based in Cranberry Township and serving clients throughout Butler and Allegheny Counties, she has built her practice around one core conviction: that how a family gets through a legal matter matters just as much as the outcome itself.

Her work spans the full range of family law including divorce, custody, support, equitable distribution, and complex financial disputes. Maria is perhaps best known in the Western Pennsylvania legal community for her deep commitment to collaborative practice. As a certified collaborative attorney, a trained mediator, and one of Pittsburgh’s long-standing trainers for new collaborative professionals, she has invested years in building the kind of expertise that gives her clients real options. She is a member of the Three Rivers Collaborative Divorce and the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals.  She is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, a member and past President of the Butler County Bar Association, and has been recognized by Super Lawyers.

That said, she is no stranger to the courtroom. When negotiated resolution is not achievable, Attorney Imbarlina steps in as a prepared and effective litigator with experience handling high asset divorces, contested custody proceedings, complex support disputes, and matters requiring business valuation. She has also been appointed by the court as Guardian ad Litem for children in custody actions, a distinction that speaks to the confidence the judiciary places in her judgment and professionalism.
